I'm Not Mad…I'm Special
Book image

Inflorescent lights spiral from a pair of blinking eyes. Behind the blinking eyes, stands a child. Behind the standing child's blinking eyes, sits a mind. A mind so muddled from insignificant others.

Sky developed delusional visions and a wild imagination from, drug abuse and parental neglect.

Stands that blinking eyed child, choking on her first joint, aged only seven.

Does the difference between others show?

Does this freak difference ooze freely to allow others to use it to there advantage?

Do you have to be picked on to a degree so bad, that it changes your persona?

Is this fair?

For Sky, this was her affliction.

Schizophrenia kicked into her system like a dirty disease, which showed to the world.

Her mind turns to hate.

Now seventeen, Sky faces her hidden demons, alone.

Let Sky’s schizophrenic mind tell you her cock-and-bull story

ME PERSONALLY I BLAME HER PARENTS...

What would you do if you had the power to kill everybody who affronted, insulted, or injured you?

I'm Not Mad...I'm Special by Veronica Lamont tells the story of Sky Shanti, a teenager who faces the ordeal and agony of Tina Robson. Tina's unremitting mischief pushes Sky into the all powerful world of her dreams. Sky, the abused, calculating, duplicitous, appealing and unanticipated character tests her dream powers on those who have wronged her. Sky's profoundly disturbed core intensified by dabbling in magic, drugs and her desire for revenge makes for the ideal proliferation ground for murder most murky and ominous. Sky admits to the doctors and police that she alone has committed these heinous crimes. They believe that she is a schizophrenic. Lucy Jenkins, doctor at the mental hospital helps Sky to open up to her and confess things that she never had before... but is she really crazy? Or is she a psychic nightmare killer with hallucinations of murder?

I'm Not Mad...I'm Special is a hypnotic and suspenseful journey into the
depths of Sky's mind. The style, though highly disturbing in some places is the driving force of this spell-binding story lunacy, madness, malevolent magic and murder make this a truly intense tale. Ms. Lamont has taken me into a truly twisted world with her first novel.

As a lover of a good scary story with a shocker ending I say do not miss this one. I loved it! I would give it a PG-13 Rating for graphic content vivid details and descriptions.
