I was born in Wichita, Kansas where my parents had moved from Kentucky looking for work. My family returned to Kentucky when I was 5. I have two older brothers, one still living, and I have 5 older sisters. I live in a small town (community) called Palma. My wife and I have 6 children and 5 grandchildren. I served almost 8 years in the U S Air Force from December 1968 until September 1976. I am currently involved in the American Legion and other veterans affairs. |

While in the USAF, I graduated from both Electrical Power Production Specialist school and Computer Operator school as an honor graduate.
I attended a local community college and graduated with a 4.0 GPA in 1985.
Currently I have two books published, The Gathering Storm and The Clouds Thicken. I have submitted the third in the series, The Full Blown Storm and am waiting to hear from the publisher.

I enjoy building designing and building furniture. Currently I have designed and built our complete bedroom suite, several tables in our home, and stools and cabinets for the kitchen. I have designed and built a dining room set for my oldest son, and have built a 6'4" x 3' x 1'6" hardwood curio cabinet for another son ( I have 4), and a blanket chest. I have built a rocking chair and bookcases for one daughter, and a cd cabinet for the other. I've built jeeps from wood (Barbie size) for my twin granddaughters. I've built hot-wheels tracks for my two grandsons and a doll house for my other granddaughter.
