Bio;
Born in New London, New Hampshire, raised in Charlestown and N. Walpole NH, I was an adventurous child, spending most my time outdoors. "Coto Child of the Ocean" was a book written in my later years, and the first one I chose to submit to the publishers. At 43 years old I am married, and have three children, two boys, ages, 20, and 6, a girl age 4, and a granddaughter.

"Coto, Child of the Ocean" is the first book that I have published, but not the first I have written. I have written a total of 5 books that I hope to submit for publishing. One of those books, entitled, "To Find the Stone", I still have, handwritten in a 12 year old's scrawl, and illustrated with adolescent drawings. I remember staying awake in my bedroom until late at night, working on "To Find the Stone", and turning down daytime invitations from my friends to go out and play with them. In three days I completed the 150 page children's book and started on my next project, a play called "An Orphan named Christian" that I completed in three weeks. Later in life I edited the play and turned that into a book as well.
"Coto, Child of the Ocean" was inspired by my oldest son Michael, then seven years old. Michael's love for the ocean, and his dream of swimming with the dolphins, near our home in Carlsbad, California, is what presented me with the idea of Coto. I hope "Coto, Child of the Ocean" will only be the first of many stories that I will bring to the market.

Our family consist of many artist. A couple of published, past books include, my grandmother's book of poems, "Thoughts to Treasure", and my great grandmother's book, "Robbed of My Childhood" Other artist, and performers, in my family, include my 75 year old mother, who sang with a country group as a teen and continues today to sing for fun at churches. She is also an accomplished yoderer. My brother Darrell is a web artist, and is now involved in the medical field. My sister Rose, an artist with many different talents, and is an accomplished sewer. My sister Bonnie is an accomplished photographer, and my sister Anna is a designer of Jewely. The Talent doesn't stop there. New generation of Artist include my youngest son, age 6, who has already sold his paintings in a festival, and performs on stage in Christian theatre, as well as my one, and only little girl, also a performer in Christian theatre, and loves to dance and sing. Both my children perform in local, Christian stage performances, the most recent, upcoming performance for both my younger children is "The Pirates of, I Don't -Care- a-bean.
