Background Information
Hi! My name is Sherry Moore and I'm a published author. In addition to writing, I have been learning about the travel industry, raising two wonderful children, and I visit various schools to motivate children about writing.
In the beginning of 2004 I published one of my children's books to raise money for a local elementary school. On December 1, 2003, KUSA TV Denver (Denver's 9 News) and The Denver Post newspaper both featured a story about my children’s book, and in April 2004, I was nominated for the 7 Everyday Hero Award for this accomplishment. In January 2005 I was also nominated for the 9NEWS Leader of the Year Award for my overall work with children..
