RESUSCITATE

In yesterdays mirror I stood reserved
Todays promise I take repose in caution
Within the reservoir of my wet emotions

Relieving my sacrificial dam overflowing
Spilling all harboring guilts that reside
Restraints that once bounded have broken

Lifting my ill body by redemptions staff
Reaching for stems of life she suffocates
My valley has been deep my personal tomb

Steep my climb to the staircase of needing
Taunting echoes tempt to halt my ascension
Turmoil rapes my oxygen do not resuscitate

CONTEMPLATION

Perched upon this lone rock of hopeful truths
Waiting for the one my brave knights approach
To view him ride in on his stallion of rescue

I long for his masculinity to press my being
Upon my milky white skin so tender his touch
Removing the sword that binds my hearts ache

Clutching every breeze tasting his arrival
Feeling his nearness by every inhaled breath
My pulse races by the closeness your presence

On this peak of loveless faith draws a union
Hearing in the distance hoofs pound the earth
Cascading sounds of mutual desires are abound

Drenched in the sunlight locked into my sight
A man who holds the key to my intimate release
At-last we will interlace into one contemplation
