Born in Miami, Florida in 1978, I was schooled by some of the city's most outstanding teachers at Gulliver Academy and Gulliver Preparatory. My collegiate studies at FSU and FIU included psychology, creative writing, and finance. During my twenties, I volunteered at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens in Miami, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, in GED preparation tutoring, and as an Aikido instructor for high school students. I also write poetry, as well as paint with oil and acrylic.
From visual arts to literary works to an article in the FSView newspaper to Internet message boards to word-of-mouth, I actively promote the martial art of Aikido. I believe this highly spiritual practice has the potential to bring about a more harmonious world. I currently live in Miami. The Sands of Erebus is my first and only published book, while there is a different author of the same name. |
