(*) Some folks do not want their names to be made public when they send their E mails to me or speak to me personally.

Claudette Davis (Serving Online Seniors) writes: After reading Ruth's book I wanted everyone in my life to read this book.  The positive energy and the delightful way Ruth made me realize that "I must be in control of my life."  With an angels hand upon mine and anything is possible. It was really difficult for me to put the book down, it was confirming all I believed in life.  Someone actually was putting it in words. Words of wisdom carefully  written by a very special lady.  Thanks Ruth

 *A retired doctor's
wife arrived at my door one morning to thank me for the book.  She spoke about her life and her questioning about some of the things she had been taught by her church.  She thanked me for answering some of her questions.  As she was leaving, she waved the book at me and said, "I'm taking this book back to my Sunday School class to shake them up."

Dean Ream writes:  This is very, very good writing.  It's to the point, in your face truisms.  A lot of people don't like to hear the truth but the majority can understand it.  I've passed it along to several people and they all enjoyed it too.

Alden Davis (Organizational Strategist, United Technologies Corp.) writes: Wake up and accept accountability for where you are in life.  Ruth, you share the wisdom of your age through a story asking us to open ourselves to the possibilities and mysteries of life just beyond what is visible to our eyes.  Angels, auras and divine intervention all play a part in setting conditions for the characters to start owning their lives and making decisions which truly reflect a life lived victoriously. As we become involved in the story we begin to realize that it is about people we know, maybe even ourselves.  You are guiding us on a journey to understand the power available to all of us who truly seek living the unique life that is given to each of us.

*  Tom writes:  If you were to receive deserved awards for ways you have benefited society as well as your family -- I thought of saying they would be in the hundreds -- but with a little reflection, I now think they would be in the thousands.

*  My favorite clerk at the hardware store: After I read your book it was clear to me that I had to share it with many of my lifelong friends. As soon as my wife read it, I began sharing it.  So much mental stimulation to be found that one never gets in a church setting.

*  An unknown man knocked on my door and asked if I had more books on hand.  Our neighbor had shared my book with him. He purchased 3 for his children. The next week his wife came back and purchased another for a friend.

* A local minister with a new church congregation, asked to purchase a book for his daughter who was fast becoming an agnostic.

*  A psychologist writes:  To attempt to itemize your many talents would be a formidable task.  You are a multifaceted person who defies any simplistic description, yet with a wisdom that is the very essence of simplicity in that you are able to condense complicated information into easily understandable concepts.
It was a joy to appear with you on the same lecture/discussion programs on several occasions in the past.  More people should have the opportunity to access your energies and insights.

James Brenner, Attorney at Law, Los Angeles.
To whom it may concern:  Ruth and I have been personal friends since 1970. I am acquainted with Ruth, her husband Mike, and all of their children, whom they have encouraged to develop and live in a caring way.
Ruth has a strong personal ethics code of doing what is right and encourages everyone to recognize their own personal worth and talents.  Ruth is creative, industrious, and hard working. Once she "puts her mind to a task" the task always gets done.
She is not dogmatic or closed minded, but is willing to access and analyze new ideas and thoughts without fear of admitting her own personal belief system could "use a little fine tuning". If, after careful consideration, she embraces the new idea, relishes it, and views life as an ever evolving joy of adventure and discovery.
Ruth is a truly unique and inspirational person.
