My father and I have created an adorable fictitious character who actually represents and tells the story of real-life science that most children and adults know nothing about ! This book represents a whimsical but important factual learning experience about how fungus affects everyone's daily life. . .from yeast for making bread rise to sweet candy made of truffles and remedies for a bad sore throat.
We feel that while children must read to grow intellectually, they also need to read things that can become beneficial. And we think parents will learn a thing or two as well !! We've included a glossary that easily explains each example in the book, so that parents can interpret the information for their children if needed.
