Review: Eve'n Adam by Sherry F. Clements
It was a pleasure to be able to share in the spirit the wonderful poetry that Sherry Clements has written in her book Eve'n Adam. The book is a true testimony of what the flesh and the spirit go through in trusting and worshiping the Lord, and the way she exposes the thorn in all of us. The way of Satan always causing mistrust and doubt in God's children but never to the point of totally giving up is seen in the rebounding solace any of us can find in His Love. These poems have many great messages to help in all sorts of life's day to day pressures and struggles.
It is an uplifting book of poetry from an educated professional who is also dedicated to keeping the ways of the Lord no matter what is thrown in her path and as she expresses in one of them when she says "Just trot on by" to the D E V I L. I truly enjoyed this book and felt it inspiring and helpful to both the Christian and those seeking strength in prayer to God to overcome sin. A great read to go back to time and time again.

Every Eve is a spiritual book of poetry written by Sherry F. Clements who has a ministerial call on her life. Ms. Clements' purpose of writing this book is to aid others in their relationship with God. She has done this very well by extending insight into various walks of life and giving details in her poetry of how to be closer to God. Ms. Clements' ability to use uncompromising intellect brings her point across in this richly, "to the point", collection of poetry. She does not try to "sugar coat" her efforts. This is especially true in the poems titled "People," Me...Me...Me," and "They." Many readers will gain increased insight into their relationship with God and their every day living by reading her works. Ms. Clements' originality, fluidity and clarity are of the quality and standards for which all poems should be written. Her works are drawn from reality, not fiction. Every Eve is definitely a must read. I recommend Every Eve to all those who wish to sustain or renew their walk with Christ.
