Uncharted Places
Love appears through an astounding feeling; That only I can clearly understand. A glow of light; is to me, revealing; To solely me, it has been seen first hand.
<*><*>
His hand gently touches, upon my skin; An inferno, that sets my heart aglow. An astounding emotion; felt within; The pure sensation, which makes my blood flow.
<*><*>
The rush of passion, that becomes unleashed; As we soar, to those uncharted places. The desire within our souls to be reached, As we experience love embraces.
<*><*>
I vow to you; my total existence; I request from you love within your soul. You demonstrate to me no resistance. Together, we are both as one and whole.

REQUIEM
Drowning in my soul Tears and pain wash over me Lost within darkness and despair Can you hear me calling you Endlessly Echoes of dreams inside myself As if in a vacuum of space My hope is gone, as is my will No more chances Memories and shadows follow me My dreams lay shattered and broken For none for none to see but me It's raining in my heart, dark clouds follow me Falling deep within myself Where no one lives but me,Waiting for darkness to carry me I shall not turn away, oh no I rush into the arms of eternity Into my dreams of peace, to sleep Waiting for darkness to carry me Into the land of dreams For all eternity

THE FLOWER
It hung there in the window, and pleasure it would give, to a woman who did not have very long to live.
She was in an accident, and so when she passed on; the flower slowly withered for all the love was gone.
Her husband loved her truly, and knew she loved that plant. He was going to throw it out,but then he thought "I can't".
He went to ask his neighbor,if her poor plant was dead. He said that he wasn't sure, they'd put it in his bed.
That flower bed was in a spot her husband passed each day. So when the flower shot back up he noticed right away.
He watched it grow for fifteen years until he joined his wife. Now it's a reminder of the love they shared in life.

Hazel is the cutest little basset hound She enters a room and smiles abound Hazel loves children with her great big heart I knew she'd grow into a great dog from the start Not only does she love kids she loves frogs too Every evening she goes out in the dusky dew She searches for frogs to carry around like she's a cab Just an ordinary hound dog not a retriever or a lab She tote's the frogs ever so gently in her mouth Hazel heads north, west, east and south She carries it from chair to couch without a scratch A sixty pound basset and her frogs what a match

THE BIRTH OF ROCK & ROLL
Storm clouds gathered over Memphis And with the winds of change at hand, Lightning flashed, and thunder rolled, As it spread across the land! And they that rose to stop it, Met a force beyond control, A generation claimed it And named it, Rock & Roll!
A mix of country, Gospel, Pop, And down home Delta Blues, All dressed in Flash and Dazzle Rhinestone suits, and Blue suede shoes! And I, like all the others Felt the magic touch my soul As I was there to witness The birth of Rock & Roll!

I have found the greatest love of all, which is self love. When we can love ourselves we are open to give and receive love. I was Born in Montreal, Canada and lived most of my life there. I am a recently married woman. My new husband of just over three years is an American and I have re-located to Pennsylvania to be with him. I am now a permanent resident of the United States, although when the time comes, I will be a citizen of both The United States and Canada. I enjoy golf, writing, reading, taking long walks with my dog and visiting new places when on vacation. My poetry is mostly written from true life experiences but a few are created from my imagination. Writing, what feelings harbor in my soul, gives me enjoyment. I have been writing since I was very young. I have a new sparked interest in writing stories. I hope to continue to write for as long as it gives me pleasure. Hi! Friends my name is Mike Schuh! I love life and poetry which I find is very big part of my life! As a child I never had a great education, so the spoken word as always been far easier for me than the written one, but I am learning and discovering new things everyday! Poems just seem to pop in my head which makes me happy as it really does help me to keep focused and my mind away from the pain that troubles me constantly! ... I love God and I care about other's and I hope my poetry reflects this...To purchase or see my books in more detail click on link above Book Store One...

Joe Hartman. I was born March 22, 1952 in the great state of Texas. I met my wife Robin in our home town of San Antonio. It was then our adventure started. We have three fine children, one son and two daughters, whom I'm proud to call my friends. They all are reflections of their mother, who is the finest person I have ever met. We currently have four grand-dogs, and four grand-cats. I look forward to having grandkids. My writing started with a song for one girlfriend-that won me her best friend. I am a carpenter, and as my hands got too bad to play the guitar very well, I took to writing songs without music. If my poetry has improved, I owe it all to those who gave me some tough but constructive reviews. My book can be seen in more detail / to purchase if you click on the link above to… Book Store One…

Texas, USA I have two books that Pat Simpson has helped me with the first being Standing Tall When Feeling Small this book is for charity for Alzheimer patients I wrote this book on behalf of my mother and she is still alive yet she no longer knows who I am. The second book was in collaboration with Pat Simpson based on my dog Hazel it is Hazel the Hound and The Frogs. This is a great children’s book I have given this book to many children and they just loved Hazel and the frogs adventures. I have not been writing for the last few months I am going to school online and very involved in helping my sister take care of her very ill child so it has left me no time to write poetry. I will be back when my schedule allows it. Much love goes out to all of my poet friends and may you continue writing about your passions. God Bless Terri Wright
