Patrick was born on February 11th, 1983 in Columbus, Ohio.

He was raised by his grandparents through the first part of his life due to medical problems with his brother. Because of this, he formed a bond with them and has always considered them his parents as well.

His biological parents divorced when he was eight years old, and life began to change. His previously normal and content life was slowly becoming a life of stress and turmoil. His grandfather died on February 7th 1995 and was buried on his birthday. This is probably when he really began to write poetry. He had always enjoyed writing stories, but they lacked the same therapeutic quality that poetry had.

Throughout middle school, Patrick's poetry became more violent and explosive. He was admitted three separate times into psychiatric facilities due to insomnia and depression. In 1997 he was admitted for the last time, and spent an additional amount of time in foster care.

It was at this point that he decided to make some changes in his life. Somewhere, somehow, he had become a violent and careless individual. Whenever he tried to think clearly of the things that had happened over the past few years, he was horrified to discover that he could only vaguely remember. It was January of 1999 and the only things that he could remember clearly anymore were the hospitals, the walks he took alone that seemed to last forever, and an unorganized collection of memories that sparkled like diamonds through the darkness. Initially, he refused to deal with this issue and pushed it to the back of his mind. But apparently he wasn't finished yet.

In early 2004 he began to gather together the random poems that he'd written throughout the years. His only evidence that those missing years even existed. He found them like messages in bottles, and began to see that if he put them in the right order, he could recreate his story. Not with the actual memories, mind you. But of the emotions that he experienced...

"Sententious - Subtly Changing," was created to release him of those years; to bring him closure. And it has.

He is currently working on a Novel that is yet untitled, and two more books of poetry that revolve around different aspects of life. "The Eyes of Calistori," a book about love, and "The Nature of Dreams," which should be self explanatory...
