Manuscript Summary
The Story of the Journey of the Endless Traveler is about a man, whom we will call the Traveler, that one day decides he must leave Crustcap, the cursed town he lived his whole life. The Traveler has lived his life in one place, having most of his knowledge come from the ground he stands on and little from the rest of the world. His family, friends, his love, and his dog have all suffered untimely deaths - claimed by an unseen force that the Traveler believes to consume the entire town.
Determined to escape a similar fate, the Traveler takes his last paycheck, a few personal belongings and begins to drive his Cruiser west, never looking back. On the open road, feeling free, the Traveler is curious about what he will see along the way. Throughout his journey he passes through small towns and niches that hardly appear on most maps. To truly transcend what he flees from, the Traveler must realize and accept that there are many Crustcaps; places of little change which are poisoned by simple close-minded people, unaware of progress through change, lacking hunger to know the world beyond their own reality. The Traveler must question what he is fleeing. He must befriend people who seek truth about the universe. Will the Traveler be doomed as he discovers the plague of Crustcap has followed him?
