My Love Birds - Jake and Senora
Nance was born in Flint, Michigan and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida then later in Fenton, Michigan. She attended DeVry University in Phoenix, Arizona for her Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems and currently works in a hospital in northern Arizona. She currently lives on five and a half acres with her son Matthew, four horses, two dogs and two cats. Nance is often heard saying she has a small piece of paradise. This 35 year old single mother yearned for a way to establish a strong relationship with her 13 year old son. Horses brought the two together in a bond that will last a lifetime as the two are able to visit about their day’s events while riding off into the sunset.

Nance Sparks has studied extensively the subject of self sufficiency and survival, particularly during a crisis or disaster. Research for an underground shelter of her own led her to a wealth of information she felt compelled to share. She has always had a passion for writing and has written many fiction short stories and books. She is now pursuing publication of those works.
