Juliet Mudembei was born and raised in Kenya, an East African country. She taught Swahili [Kenya's national language] and literature in English in different Kenyan high schools for ten years. Among the schools she taught in were St. Peter's Boys' High School and Sigalame Boys' High School. Juliet left the teaching service to stay home with her five children namely, Khadenje, Kamonya, Shitaho, Laguna and Ongaya. Currently she lives in Lake Wales, Florida with her husband Keverenge and all their children.
When she is not writing something, Juliet is helping her kids with their homework or cooking her favorite African cuisine, or better yet, volunteering at her local Church.
