WRITER ANNOUNCES RELEASE OF MANUSCRIPT BY PUBLISHAMERICA

   Melissa Shaffer, a.k.a., Katie Jenkins, has had her first manuscript accepted by PublishAmerica. 'Married Young: Cleaning Out the Closet', a survival story of teenage love, abuse and heartache, is scheduled to be released on December 4, 2004.

   October 10, 2004--Melissa Shaffer has had a love affair for all genres of novels from very early in her life, and because of that love affair, her own career as an author was launched.

   In addition, her second book, 'Army Recruiting At Its Finest: Recruiting: Classified Information', an informatative tool to assist in gaining acceptance into the military, has also been accepted for publication, and will be released in 2005.

     To build on her success, Melissa has started a website promoting her books, and will also be scheduling book signings in an effort to promote herself as an author.
