I live in Kentucky. I write poetry. I dropped out of Laure County High School, for acouple reasons : ( but I am sure you really don't care! ). I recieved my GED with flying colors. I was proud, specially when I heard that 80% of highschool seniors failed it! I enjoy posting on message boards because there are alot of different people there who don't mind to be open-minded! It's really great! I started writing some time ago - ( 2 days after 9-11 ) - and about a month later I quit. I didn't have any inspiration, and I only did it because I had nothing better to do. In febuary the next year I officially started back because my mother said I was good. I failed alot of my classes because my writing was more important, from thereon-out! if that doesn't tell you how wrapped up I am about it - then ... I don't know what will. My teachers were a great inspiration for me too. they would let me give them stacks of poems and they'd go through them for me! It was awesome. One teacher actully took my poems and read them to her english class once a week and then let them write a report on it... then let me read them! That's amazing! I've been compared to acouple famous poets. some from 500 years ago to some 50 years go. My mouth drops everytime I hear someone say something like that. Though my mouth still drops when someone say's how good I am... and I always get comments like that. I don't think I've really got bad comments until recently... ( at a new board! )... but that's totally cool because I love bad comments! :D strange isn't it.    Accomplishments I'm publishing my first book through publishamerica!!! ( you can buy it know! ) and everyone who reads my poems, enjoys them, in one way or another! So I hope you grab a copy and enjoy it yourself!!! I've won two gold awards for my poetry, some ribbons and a scholarship. I've won over the love of sparknotes! It might not be alot to you but try posting a poem there and see where you get. though lately all the good people has left because of trolls ( people who could care less, and just writes alot of stupid garbage! ). it's became a mess.    Additional Information  misterpoet - comes from my poetry cites, but before that someone thought it would be funny to call me that because I nagged them about my poems, though I don't remember who. I write about a lot of diffrent things, the first part isone I wrote about me and my job - and how people at my job thinks! the second part is about the lower class people of the world! ( though don't be sad, it will be in my third manuscript, which I am in the process of finishing! lol ) burning the midnight oil - burning the midnight candle peoples work day in – day out filled with sameness they want to escape but bills linger and over and over enters the thought to quit but over and over the streets render helpless. ----- proletariats struggle light up – light down overfilled with indistinguishable days. they want to sidestep but bills persist and once more thoughts of quitting enter their mind but apperceptions come and streets deem inattentive.   Other Things I have already finished my second manuscript - it's called ::: watermelon dreams : " the second collection of misterpoet " - I am going to send it off to them the middle of next month!    My third manuscript is called ::: it came from the dark : " the third collection of misterpoet " - I will be sending it to them the first of next year! this one will be my biggest collection of poems!
