A NEW GO THIC SERIES
WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF
“BELLE
WHITE"
A gothic thriller staged in the deep south during the 1800’s!
BWBWBWBWBWBW
Come and take a journey with me back in time; back to the mid 1800’s right after the Civil War, when slavery was finally abolished! Travel back in time when white ladies were southern bells, white men were gentlemen, and they as the elite enjoyed the long hot summer days with lazy afternoons!
Then journey into the swamp alligator country of New Orleans Louisiana with Belle White; a white woman by color only, who was considered as just another Blackie, since her mother was a black slave and her father was the son of a plantation owner. Go with her to the magnificent Rockwell Plantation Estate, where she sought and found employment as a servant!
Meet the very wealthy plantation owners, the Wilkinson family, and the very stiff back and mean head maid of the Rockwell mansion, Irene Richardson, who out of jealousy of Belle’s beauty, assigned her to the attic as her sleeping quarters; the attic that was a torching furnace in the summer and a freezing hell in the winter!
Tread carefully though! The one person you don’t want to meet is the old black woman who lives deep in the center of the back woods of Rockwell, and whose only reason for living is to wreck havoc on the rich white plantation owners, for kidnapping her from her beautiful homeland of Africa!
Pray that you will not become the victim of the old woman’s voodoo spells, which are brought about by some of the uneducated and extremely revengeful ex-slaves, who dared to venture into the dark woods late at night, and seek the help and services of the black witch of revenge! She’s known as Old Momma Brazoria; the African voodoo witch of Rockwell, feared by all... black, white, man, woman, and child!

"WOMEN OF HISTORY"
WRITING CONTEST!

TO THE WORLD OF DRAMA!

"A WOMAN'S PURSE"

The inside of most women’s purses are a collection of things that are important, things that were important, things that could be important, things that prevented littering, things that she needs, things that she did need, things that she might need; and sometimes things that she will never need again; and then there are the forgotten things. The things that lie untouched in the bottom or side pocket of her purse that are looked over, passed over, but somehow manages to remained tucked away in her purse until one day it is remembered.
"A Woman's Purse" is a collection of five such stories that will bring you to tears of laughter, tears of sadness, and tears of joy, while keeping you on the edge of your seats! Open the purses of these five women, and enter into five different worlds of drama!
“THE LOTTO TICKET”,

Our first story is about the important things that were found and that were not found in the purse of a young single mother and welfare recipient, Martha Matheson.
“THE LETTER FROM HER LOVER”
Time and time, again and again, many of us have witnessed women whether they’re our mothers, sisters, or even wives, who have picked up her mail from the mail box, glanced over a particular envelope and then stuffed it into her purse to read later. Our next story is about such a woman who did just that; however, later turned out to be much longer than she had ever anticipated.
“THE SEARCH FOR ANTHONY WHITCOME”

You know, some of the things that can be found in a woman’s purse which she will never need, are sometimes put there by someone other than herself. Like the woman in our next story, Amelia Rodriguez, the Hispanic woman who faithfully woke up early every Saturday and Sunday morning; and after picking up her very best friend, Natalie Brown, an African American, they hopped into the car and followed the directions of every “Yard Sale” sign they found! The two women were firm believers that one man’s junk was another man’s treasure; and they went treasure hunting each and every weekend without fail!. Until the weekend Amelia found a dynamite deal on a purse, purchased it, and then discovered inside a letter outlining the plot to kill a man who was a total stranger to her and her friend! When the local police seemed disinterested in Amelia's find, she and her friend, Natalie, personally took it upon themselves to become superhero women to the rescue, and prevent the murder from occurring!
"JANET WORTHINGTON"
Comedy is always good for the soul, mind, and body, and certainly Natalie and Amelia definitely gave us many situations in their story to laugh at; however, it is not a guarantee that all of the stories told in this book will be as jocular as the last. For instance, take a look at this next story, a murder mystery which is about something that was found in a woman’s purse that could be important.
“ILLUSIONS”
Anna Franklin is a woman who has been carrying something around in her purse for the longest; something that she will never, ever, need again! “Illusions", which is an appearance or feeling that misleads because it is not real; thing that deceives by giving a false idea. Justice is a precious thing for all living human being, and because of a forgotten item found in the bottom of Anna Franklin's purse, justice was indeed rendered .

"HOME IS WHERE THE TRASH IS"

A story about a young man and his friends, who are suffering horribly from the experience of going through the adolescent stage of their lives! The period of time in their lives, when for the first time, they become totally confused and dumbfounded about who they are... what they are...and what's expected of them at this age! They deal with the problems of no longer being a carefree child... and yet since they're still not adults with authority, they are expected to follow the rules of their homes, which by the way, they don't feel it really is anyway! They know that deep inside of them they love their parents, but can't seem to figure out the best way of expressing that love! It is also a story about these adolescents being affected terribly by the horrific decisions and actions that other school class mate adolescents, choose to make in their lives.

It is a story about the parents of the adolescents teenagers, who are trying desperately hard to find a common bond and common grounds with their problemed and confused teenage children without going stone cold mad!
A story about a constant fight of survival and a tug of war between the guardian angles of the family and the demons who are trying so hard to possess them all!
   .gif)
It is a story about a group of people who find that they have come together to create thier family; but, who now hardly know if they should give up and stop, be determined and continue to go forward, or move very cautiously because they don't want to say or do anything that may just push one of the family members over the edge!

Here's an excert from the book:
Around here, every day is dooms day, and dooms day is trash day; but since the trashman comes only once a week, and when he do comes he don't pick up the most bothersome trash of all, causes it to just down right stink around here! The sad thing is, of all of the cleaning products and air refreshers being sold on the market and in the stores today, and of all of the psychiatrists and preachers practicing their skills and preaching their sermons in this town, this family still hasn't come up with a way to get rid of the foul spelling trash odor that's piled up in our home!

"ASHES"

PROLOGUE
To live an honest life on earth,
Being true and caring to our fellowman,
Assures us of a peaceful future,
When someone is placed in the undertaker’s hands!
If we live the life of a liar and a cheat,
Abusing the ones we’ve been told to love,
Will the cremator guarantee us they are at rest,
When into the furnace their body he shoves?
Be very careful, my fellowman,
And my fellow woman as well.
For their bodies might be burned,
But they still may have more to tell!
You have been told, you have been warned,
Now how you live your life is up to you.
But don’t go screaming in the night,
When their ashes comes for you!

THE GREAT PROBLEM SOLVER!

MY PUBLISHER
PUBLISHAMERICA
God had a wonderful message of hope to get out to the people of the world, and He chose me to be His secretary. Even though I had never written a book before in my life, and knew nothing about the publishing world, I said, "Yes Lord". When His great message had finally been typed into book form, it was then my job to do the foot work and try to find someone to publish the book for me. Not even knowing where to start, still I said, "Yes Lord". I went on the internet and immediately found many publisher who were willing to publish my book, but for a cost, and the cost of some were substantual. I checked many of the other publishers but found that most weren't accepting any new authors, and others were only dealing with agents.
I proceeded then to look for an agent, and found that a lot of the agents weren't accepting any new authors also. Finally, I found a list of agents on the internet, but before I could contact any of them, I also found an "Authors Beware" website and immediately checked it out. There were an awful lot of important warnings about publishers and agents, and all of a sudden I found myself entering into a world which held dishonest foes of both publishers and agents, and was very sadden and disappointed. Of all of the warnings, I held onto the one that I felt was the most important, "A fee is a fee is a fee, and that everyone involved in the publication of a book should all get paid at the same time; and that's when a book was sold. If my books doesn't sell, then no one gets paid. I was also warned that if I paid money up front, then the agents and publishers would not work as hard to sell my book, the book which carried God's message, because they would have already made money off my literary works. This made sense to me. So, with patience, I continued to look and search and search and look.
Many times I wondered if I would ever get my book published, and get God's wonderful message out to the people. Feeling hopeless and lost, in what was for me the unknown and unfamiliar world of literary, many days I was so tempted to take up one of the self publishing offers. But a soft sweet voice whispered into my ear, into my heart, and into my soul, saying, "Don't give up, I'm with you always, and it shall be done". I said, "Yes Lord". Shortly after one of the many encouraging and reassuring conversations with God, I finally found Publish America. After visiting their website and reading their promise that not a penny would be asked of me to have them publish my book, I immediately submitted my manuscript to them, and jumped for joy when they too said, "Yes Lord".
Working with them on my first book I have met many wonderful people in their organization. To mention a few, there was Heather, who so brilliantly and patiently did the editing for my first book, and there were also Jeni, Sarah, Shawn, the magnificent Anthony, who designed the wonderful book cover which illustrated the contents of my book perfectly; also there were Kate, Christina, Patrice, Megan, and Lili, and they all worked together as one big family. I am so happy to say that they have all now made me feel like a welcomed member of their wonderful family. They are now working on my second book of the "Jennifer Answorth" series, and have also accepted my first book of poetry, entitled "The Poems of Life".
I am a true believer that because of the fact that I said, "Yes Lord", and because of the fact that PublishAmerica said, "Yes Lord", He in return will say to us, "Yes Mildred, and Yes Publish America". I have read on the internet where many have put down PublishAmerica, with their negative comments. Please allow me to say that as far as I'm concern, there's no greater publisher than PublishAmerica. The one thing that sets them apart from all the others that I contacted, is the fact that they said "Yes" to me, and more important they said "Yes" to God. God's message is out now, all over the world; and His great message is, "There is indeed hope for the hopeless, and uplifting for the downtrodden"!
