A Sparkle from Within
With morning's first light she walked
New rose blossoms were waking.
Fresh drops of dew still trickling
Their petals soft like the touch of her heart.
The slight hint of a rainbow enhancing
She watched as it fades slowly.
Close by, the songs of morning doves
A sweet melody, the same one found within her soul.
With butterflies fluttering above her
The end of the path she reached.
There she sat filling herself with all seen
The sweet tenderness of the day slowly passes.
With a cool evening's breeze
All rose blossoms wave goodnight.
Whispering sweet dreams to her
One by one the birds and butterflies depart.
The moonlight gleams brightly now
A soft glow enchants her delicate skin.
Coyotes serenade her while she walks back
Twinkling stars enhance the moonbeams adding a smile.
With her mind at peace now
She drifts away to dreamland.
The beauty she witnessed, so vividly fresh
The same he sees sparkling within her eyes.
