Michael A. Mata was born in San Antonio, TX September 19, 1972. Michael moved to Laredo, TX with his parents, two sisters and older brother. Michael attended LCC college right after high school. He continued to excel by owning his own business at the age of 25. Michael decided to make a career change and joined the Sheriff's Office. Along the way he has witten three other books that are yet to be published. Michael A. Mata resides in the city of San Antonio, TX with his two kids and his wife. Michael A. Mata decided to publish "Growing from boys to men" because he feels young men should read it. Since he had a tough life growing up his experience will help young men do thing a little better.
