My novel was officially released in late September 2003. I received my first copy in the mail by my publisher on October 3, 2003. What's strange about this October date is that the 10th Mountain unit that I write about in Flashpoint Quebec, the 2-14th Infantry Regiment, actually was engaged in the Battle of Mogadishu ten years earlier to the day!
