 Forward

Sometimes in our daily walk we find such precious jewels of wisdom and spiritual understanding, and this is what I have found in this book, Poems of the Messenger by Rose Anita Renner. I loved her insight in the two lines of the poem "Angels":  "Tomorrow grows from today!  Every moment matters!"

Every person who reads this book will find a bit of wisdom that pertains to their personal life; a bit of wisdom that will make their journey a little brighter, a little more filled with joy.

I was taught by a very special Cherokee elder and Wisdom Keeper, John Red Hat Duke.  His teachings are shared in the book Red Hat Speaks and  so much insight in Poems of the Messenger adds to the understanding of Elder Red Hat's teachings.  The Rose has shared with us insight she also gleaned from her many discussions with Elder Red Hat:  insight carried down through the ages from our Native American ancestors.

Rose has a wonderful, close connection to the spiritual realm where she has gained spiritual insight that has been hidden from most of us.  Reading her special poems will help us understand some hidden, eternal secrets of the ages.

I highly recommend reading Poems of the Messenger.  May our lives be enlightened and enriched by the words of The Rose.

We have to be as real and honest as Rosie in Poems of the Messenger to even begin the journey of forgiveness, healing and restoration.  Rosie removes the mask and dares to share her vulnerability and precious spirit with us as she courageously risks revealing her innermost thoughts and feelings ~ a trait so lacking even today.  Thank you, Rosie                                   Jane Hurst - friend and co-worker of Rose Anita Renner

This is like Dr Suess for adults.  Such valuable life lessons in simple prose is so easily understood and remembered.  ED-New York,NY

 Reincarnation

It has come to my attention that many are refusing to buy or even check out Poems of the Messenger due to the fact that I unlike most refused to hide the truth of who I am. Or should we say was.  None of which matters as to the content of the poetry anyway!  But in recourse I will explain if you will allow.

  1.  Matt 11:14 states plainly that Jesus says that John the Baptist was Elias.  John 1:21 states that John the Baptist says he wasn't.  If I need to choose between believing the Christ or the fore-runner I choose the Christ.
  2. I have remembered many things from other lifetimes that with research I have been able to find and /or confirm.
  3. I remembered a historical fact from the third century in Ireland that I could not find. The druids and bards of the land would retell history in ryhmn and in current time or in symboligy.  Then I met Rosie Besler from NY who is a descentant of the Kings of Ancient Ireland.  I related it to her in detail. She looked at me and said "That happened in 248AD how can you know that? It can't be found outside of Ireland? I only know it because I am a descendant of the Kings thereof(she did say thereof) so I have a book of the true history of Ireland!"
  4.  When joining the Catholic Church in 1996. In class we were told That there were power hungry priests in the first few hundred years of the Catholic Church which is why they don't teach that the Bible is literal truth.  I've never heard it said again.
  5. Honestly folks think.  Power hungry priests at a time when to repent one must pay money to the church. Now in their way of thinking how many more would repent if they thought there was only one chance to.. shall we say get it right???
  6. In the Bible where it says "not one iota of God's words will be changed" Is speaking of God's words. Yes, but it dosen't say written!  Are not His words placed in your heart?
