“I Love Food; Therefore I am Not a Chef” chronicles Mark’s journey through life, as it relates to food and the foodservice industry.  He offers pertinent advice to those seeking to enter the business, as well as pitfalls to avoid and things to look for.  The book also details some of the more “seedy” aspects of the industry in rather graphic detail.  This book is a no-holds-barred account of how Mark came to be interested in foodservice and his various trials and tribulations in the business.  The book also dispels many of the over complications and myths that are perpetrated by today’s so-called “Celebrity Chefs”, which put a lot of people off of cooking.  It even details some common myths of using and preparing food, which will hopefully give the reader a more comfortable attitude towards this wacky and wonderful art!
