Imagine trying to navigate thru a maze, and at every dead end you may encounter corrupt Mexican Federal Agents, members of a violent gang, 2 beautiful women, both your mothers on their knees in prayer, or someone that looks familiar strapped down to a death gurney. If you can imagine that, then you've met Lenny.
Joe Cruz, North Little Rock.
Lenny is a story that will sweep you away into a world of desperation and despair, but you will emerge on the other end into a world of hope and redemption. It is truly a unique story following a young man who searches for answers and happiness. It all takes place in the state of Texas. While it is fiction, I can see so many young men and women who have traveled, or are traveling, down the same path that Lenny did. Life is a series of choices and those choices mold us into the adults we are today. Everyone can learn something from Lenny.

Ram... Say, your book is good! The few men in here that read it say the same. You did good. I knew you'd do what you said you'd do. Great work.

Lenny grabs your attention in the first few pages and won't let go. I am not a fast reader and I finished this book in just a couple of days. I loved this book!!!!!!! The characters make you really care about them. This book is truly a so-called "page turner". I laughed, I cried, I felt every emotion that the characters were experiencing. Not many books can do that. I have recommended it to all my friends and hope they find it as captivating as I did.

Finally a writer that relates to me: Of Spanish descent, but all American! It has some history, some culture, but mainly raw grit of what it is out there in the world. Lenny walking a line between the Mexican Mafia and violent prison gangs ! Drug deals and Death Row drama! Too real here in Texas!
