Spread the Peanut Butter Thin!

Spread the Peanut Butter Thin is now mandatory reading for the class,
Intro to Human Services, at Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield, IL.
This book is also used at UIS the University of Illinois Springfield Campus
in one of their sociology classes. I was the guest speaker at UIS
last November at their Oxfam hunger banquet.

At the banquet there was a low class meal which consisted of
half of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. There was also a middle class meal
of a full peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Finally, there was a high class meal
which was a pasta dinner. The upper class meal recipients sat at tables
with white linen and real plates and glasses. The lower class meal recipients
had to sit on the floor and were not given a plate.

A film was also shown at the banquet which portrayed the struggles
of several individuals around the globe. Hunger and homelessness
around the world were the topics of the evening. I shared my family's
personal struggle with severe poverty in Illinois from 2001-2004.

As in the Days of Noah: The UFO Phenomenon Exposed

As in the Days of Noah: The UFO Phenomenon Exposed is my second book,
published in May of 2008. It is a Biblical look at UFOs.
What started out as a cute little bedtime story about Noah's Ark one night,
turned into an all nighter with God. God took me on an unbelievable trip
through the Bible that evening almost 15 years ago now. When I was done
reading all the Bible verses I was a little bit scared. Now, I'm not
a UFO expert, but I do find the subject interesting. I've never seen a UFO,
but my daughter has. In this book, I attempt to explain,
to the best of my understanding, who they are, why they are here,
where they are from, when they will be coming and what their
possible reason is for coming to earth.

Obama to Recieve a copy of Leah Bassinger Riley's book,
Spread the Peanut Butter Thin!

A copy of Leah Bassinger Riley's Spread the Peanut Butter Thin!
has been sent to President Obama and the First Lady Michelle Obama. :)

Spread the Peanut Butter Thin was my family's own personal,
severe "economic recession" so you'll excuse me if I prefer not to
participate in the current economic recession we have going on in this
country. I hope the book helps the current administration figure out some
ways to help the country.
