Ken Woodard graduated from Bruceville-Eddy High School in 1955 and was employed at KCEN -TV Temple-Waco, TX from 1955 -1959. He worked for WABG-TV in Greenwood, MS from 1959 -1962 and at (KSYD -TV) KAUZ -TV in Wichita Falls, TX from 1962-1975. Ken was always a behind-the-scenes person, working in production, projection, and film during his TV career. After obtaining a BS degree in biology and an MS in the same field from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Ken made a career change. In 1975, he became employed by the Texas Agricultural Experiment Station-Stephenville and worked there in plant disease related research until his retirement in 1998. Ken now lives in Victoria, TX with his wife, Shirley, where he raises medicinal herbs and writes novels.
