On July 9, 2004, Ken Ramirez participated in his first book signing at the Book Seller bookstore in Grass Vally, California. 100 copies of 'Gift of the Ancient Grove', book one of 'The Naida's Quest Trilogy' sold in the first hour.Several other area bookstores have received requests for copies of this exciting fantasy trilogy.

Nevada City radio station KVMR 89.5 FM hosted author Ken Ramirez on his new book. As soon as the broadcast finished the phone was ringing with requests about book one of The Naida's Quest Trilogy.

On July 25, 2004, Barbara Szijarto, president and Queen Gnome of the World Wide Gnome Association, Edmonton, Alberta, made Ken Ramirez an honorary member of WWGA.

"I have read Gift of the Ancient Grove. It was terrific! I am hooked as I am sure many other readers will become when they finish this first book. I found the book to be more like a Lord of the Rings/Shrek crossover. I think it would produce a a great animated movie and wish you luck."

A special thanks to Odyssey Books, Tanglewood Forest of Nevada City and the Book Seller of Grass Valley, Ca., for the wonderful support and successful signings held in 2004! My three local stores are spreading the love of gnomes! Almost 500 books sold as of April, 2005 in the greater Grass Valley-Nevada City alone! Word is that previos readers are buying Gift of the Ancient Grove and sending out as gifts to friends and relatives.

April 11, 2005....Roseville Ca. hosted a signing that was a huge success. Store manager stated that, "Ken sold more books than most visiting authors!" The next day, Ken visted Union Hill School, Grass Valley, Ca., where he participated as a 'Visiting Author' for two audiences of about 200 students each, 3rd-8th graders. Ken did a reading  from his book and talked about the art of story writing! Fun for all.
