Most of my life has been spent in physical toil; I've always loved the feeling of my muscles rippling, sweat profusely dripping and the overall sense of accomplishment one has after the job is done. In that time I've worked on a farm, driven trucks, delivered food products and spent countless hours dreaming about the books I'd write someday.
Looking back, I wonder where the time went: I was always busy working – often 70 or 80 hours a week – but listing actual accomplishments is an uneasy task at best. I suppose I've had my share, but illness has a way of altering one's outlook on life and I am not different. Where once I would have pointed to jobs done well; now I'm inclined to take satisfaction in knowing others have been helped, smiles were given, and laughter brought forth.
I enjoy amateur photography and have a body of art-prints, calendars and picture books available for those who are interested. You can find those works by following this link.
Politics rate highly in my numbered passions and I've written numerous articles on that subject; some of which may be found here.
