Book Launch 20th March 2006 and New Book in publication this summer!

 News

Publish America is pleased to announce the first novel, "Northwoods Forest Mystery" by Karin Ficke Cook, will be available for purchase on the 20th of March 2006 through Publish America.com, Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, BDalton, Waldenbook, etc.  This is the first in a four-book saga about the Sanderson and White Bear families from Bemidji, Minnesota, beginning in the 1880's and continuing to the contemporary family units.  Love and laughter, tragedy and tripumph intertwine as family and friends globe hop to Europe and the UK (in book two, "Death Across the Pond), build successful businesses and help establish others in successful careers.  Book Three, "The 'Ghost' in Bolton Hall" But there are sinister characters and mystery meshing into the daily lives of these normal people.  You won't find out until the very end of the fouth book, "Murder and Pasta Don't Mix" what's really going on.

The second book in the series, "Death Across the Pond" has been published by Publish America.  This sequel to "Northwoods Forest Mystery" takes place in Bemidji, Bosnia-Hercegovina, Ireland and the UK.  While the first book was more of a romance-mystery, this book contains some of that format, but is a much darker storyline.  There is an International assassin a foot, trying to kill a newly introduced character (a CTB agent), while someone from Roan's past is after him...and they are linked together - in more ways than one.

The tranquil seaside village of Ardmore, in County Waterford, Ireland, is also featured in all four of the books and new characters are introduced.  There is romance, love blossoming and finally, some tranquility.  But there is also death close at hand.  Someone dies...but you'll have to read the books to find out who!

Several new pivotal characters are introduced, along with the village of Bolton-by-Bowland in beautiful Lancashire County in the UK.  This lovely village is nestled in the hills and valleys of northern Lancashire, along the border with the West Riding of Yorkshire and features prominently in three of the books.  While the CTB and Interpol have been hunting the assassin, known as "The Ghost", he's been hiding right under their noses in the manor house being restored in BBB.  "Death Across the Pond" ends with the hopeful capture of "The Ghost", but concludes in a shootout with police in dense fog.  Someone is killed - but how many and who?  Is it a main character?  Perhaps - but you won't know until book three, "The 'Ghost' in Bolton Hall."

These books keep you guessing and you won't know how it all ends until the last page of book four, "Murder and Pasta Don't Mix!"  So if you are one of those readers who absolutely must read the last page of the book to find out how it ends?  You'll have to wait to find out!!  Unless you can guess? But I bet you can't!
