Welcome!!!  Thank you for visiting my website.  I was born and raised in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia.  All my life I have been a "bookworm" and a Christian.  When I was preparing for college, I had planned to serve God in a ministry role.  However, God changed my plans and led me to pursue my other passion, writing.  I was about two weeks from graduating from Radford University in southwest Virginia when God led me to pursue my love of literature and my passion for writing.  I soon realized that teaching was not my calling and that if I was ever going to find contentment, I would have to cultivate the talent God gave me.  

Even after this revelation, God has put a few detours in my path which have guided me from Radford University to northwest Ohio and then back to my hometown in Hampton Roads.  The road has been littered with both trials and blessings.... the greatest of these blessings is, of course, marrying my husband, Jonathan.  Even when we were only courting, he encouraged me (until he was blue in the face) to get this book finished and published.  His loving support has been a true gift from the Lord.

Currently we are living in Hampton Roads, Virginia with our two cats.
