This book is dedicated to those men and women of the Faith who are
ready to breakthrough the darkness that has held them back from experiencing
abundant living. Over time, the enemy has been allowed to surround many of
God’s people with insurmountable walls. These walls have been built by hurt,
disappointment, bitterness, guilt, shame, and the list goes on. Instead of allowing
the power of the Holy Spirit to deal with these life issues as they occur, the
enemy lures individuals into a place of comfort and spiritual apathy. As this
false sense of security sets in, the work of the enemy goes unnoticed. While
we are busy focusing on the issues in our life, the enemy and his forces are
fast at work laying brick upon brick. It is not until the construction is nearing
completion that the walls will begin to come into view. Everyone has
experienced some form of setback in his or her life. These setbacks come in
many different shapes and sizes; however, the effects are very similar. No
two trials are the same neither are the individuals whose lives are slowly
being destroyed by them. It is my desire to equip men and women of all ages
with the knowledge that will empower them to overcome adversity. The words
that you will read on the pages to follow are simple, easy to understand, yet
powerful and life changing. This book is filled with my own real life examples
of how the Lord has carried me through the darkest of valleys to the peaks of
the tallest mountains. Though most of the eight steps to breakthrough were
taken from the life of Joshua, you will find many more exciting Biblical
examples to help you on your journey. May you be encouraged and challenged
as you embark on the journey of a lifetime. Take it from me, the road is not
always easy, but the rewards that await you make it all worthwhile.
Don’tgive up. Give life one more chance. Let the Lord guide you through your
process of breakthrough. Yours is a story in the making. You may be at the beginning,
the middle, or maybe you feel as if you are at the end. Whatever the case may be,
let the Author and Finisher of your faith, Jesus Christ, take control.
Let Him pick up the pieces and continue the story so yourswill read...
