A rocky yet powerful tale about learning to accept what life brings and find unexpected joy in the heart of difficulty. Highly recommended. Midweek Book Review

This sweeping medieval epic features a huge cast of characters and considers issues of clan and family loyalty, love, and above all, the price of peace. Gorgeous and rich in texture and detail, THE PRICE OF PEACE entertained me into the wee hours of the morning. Grace Atkinson at Romance Junkies

I very much enjoyed THE PRICE OF PEACE. In 13th century Wales, neighboring clans exist in a state of uneasy truce punctuated by bursts of bloody war. Carys, a young and innocent woman, finds herself trapped between two clans when her father and clansmen are killed. She and her kinswomen are taken to the victor's home, where she reluctantly falls in love with one of her former enemies. She does not wish to be forced to marry him, or for him to be forced to marry her, but the peace of the land depends on what choice she makes. A sweeping tale of love, war, and ho nor, THE PRICE OF PEACE is good reading.  Barbara D'amato-- Past President of Mystery Writers of America, and past President of Sisters in Crime International.
