Biography of
Jennifer Anne F. Messing
Author, Poet, Speaker & Writing Teacher
 Jennifer Anne F. Messing is a Philippine-born author and poet who now resides in Oregon with her husband and their three children. She is a cum laude (honors) graduate of Covington Theological Seminary in Rossville, Georgia, U.S.A., where she received a Bachelor of Religious Education degree (B.R.E.) in 2002, and she also has a Diploma in Freelance Journalism and Short Story Writing (1992) from International Correspondence Schools, Scranton, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. ~ from their Manila, Philippines Branch. Ms. Messing has had over 150 articles, stories, poems, and meditations published in many book compilations and print and online magazines, including More God's Abundance (Starburst Publishers, 1999), Nudges From God (Obadiah Press, 2003), Families Can Bounce Back (Christian Publications Inc., 2001), The Secret Place, Standard, Evangel, The Gem, The Proverbs 31 Woman, The Wesleyan Advocate, The Christian Communicator, Bible Advocate, Fellowscript, Aglow, True Woman Online, Short Story Writers Showcase online magazine, This Christian Life.com, MochaMemoirs.com, and Romancing the Christian Heart ezine.
For the past fifteen years, Jennifer has served in ministry as a member of her church's worship team, and at various times has been involved in leadership of small groups and Bible study groups. She has at different periods of her adult life been employed as an executive secretary, executive assistant, retail sales associate, and assistant teacher in an after-school elementary program ~ which has given her many enriching experiences to deepen her writing.
In her spare time, Jennifer Anne enjoys watching old-fashioned romantic movies and going on picnics and outings with her family, reading, cooking and home decorating, as well as dating her husband and sweetheart, Michael. In the Shadow of His Wings is her first book. |
