BACKGROUND INFORMATION

J. A. (James Andrew) George was born in 1989 in Everett, Washington, U.S.A. As a youth, his tastes in occupations had changed over the years, the wildest of which being a police officer. Beginning in 2004, his passions turned toward the creative arts; sketching, painting and computer art being most prevalent. During the same year, he began writing Camp Aconyte as a venture for an English class grade for creative writing. In 2006, James began to drift away from art, but found a new passion in writing. He finished Camp Aconyte and prepared it for formal publishing at the end of 2007. In less than four months, Camp Aconyte would gain the recognition of PublishAmerica, a Maryland-based publishing company, and make J. A. George the newest name in contemporary literature

J. A. George lives and works in Machesney Park, in Northern Illinois. His future works will include two book series, a full-length novel, a movie screenplay, and two sequels to his beloved first project, Camp Aconyte. He gains the most inspiration from his family: his mother and stepfather, and his three younger brothers.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

J. A. George is the author of the horror novelette, Camp Aconyte.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

James enjoys writing, video games, trading card collecting, and music from the 1970's and 80's, particularly Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, Phil Collins, and Michael Jackson. In his spare time, James navigates the Internet, reads books, and develops new inspiration for his stories.
