Synopsis of "Dancing With The Devil"
Amanda is married to the wealthy and prestigious John Douglas, who has been unfaithful to her since the beginning of their marriage. When she confronts him with her terms for a divorce, a struggle takes place from his high-rise office building where she is pushed to her death. Her spirit rises, however, as she needs to find her way home to care for her young son, Josh. Josh is the only one who can "see" her, the only one who knows that she is back. Amanda haunts her husband mercilessly for what he has done...causing havoc with his love-interests and clients. A tragic fire on New Year's Eve takes the lives of her husband and son. She is now able to "pass over" to paradise and take her son with her. Her husband, however, is stuck between two worlds...destined to be a ghost forever in the house until he can atone for his sins. |

Superbly written, each of the five stories is an adventure into the minds and lives of these tortored, twisted, obsessed characters.
Like her first book, "Dancing With The Devil", "Houses of Blue" is definately different...reminiscent of O'Henry, Silvestri could very well become a literary legend. You won't want to miss this book, the second of many we hope to see in the future.
