Born in Guyana, South America, Lena has been a Canadian Citizen for thirty-two years. Creative Writing is one of her passions. She has a wide range of experience (in travel and work), from which she drawns. Lena brings to her work, a unique quality and sense of humor, which is something she hopes will inspire and enrich her readers.

Lena has dabbled in areas of accounting, real estate, interior design, and now writing. Ballroom dancing, playing the piano, tennis, attending Bible studies are other areas of deep interest. For a time, she has owned and operated her own Interior Design business.

Lena's writing developed while she lived in New Zealand with her husband, where for two years, she was a student at a writing institute. While writing for children is her main focus, CAGED, her first novel, is an adult book ... but equally enjoyable to readers of any age.
