I am Australian born. I was diagnosed with dyslexica back in 1985. In 1998 I turned to putting my feelings dreams wishes etc etc on paper form on my first computer. I'm trying to make a go of it as a writer with a difference. My books have about 200 pieces of poetry in them along with photos I have taken of my trips to America / Canada / Australia in them. So others can see the beauty I have seen in my travels. Through incidents occurring in my life I finally got that chance. My dream was to go to the States and when I arrived there, I became a different person, calmer, settled and strange, as it may seem I felt 'at home' although I was many miles from my family and friends. The thoughts for the places I visited, people I met in the USA had to be remembered. I did not want to let any of the interesting and wonderful places I visited turn into a vague memory that would just slip away over time, so I started putting my thoughts down on paper. These thoughts were for me but when friends saw my writings, they urged me to share these thoughts with others. Hence how it all started.

My first published book, ONE AUSSIES ENDEAVOURS is full of poetry of my life put into words as well as a collection of photos I took on my travels around the States and Canada as well as my home place Australia. This book is not just poetry and pictures; it also contains many thoughts and stories of happenings along my way. What an accomplishment I felt to see my words in print for the first time. But I travelled many miles whilst in the USA and too many verses for one book alone. So time for a second book, “CONTROVERSIAL” DREAMS HOPE AND WISHES, this book also contains poems, pictures and more stories. While still keeping in contact with old and new friends both overseas and back home in Australia, I met a Singer/Songwriter, I told him of my verses and it peeked his interest. Being a well known Independent Artist & Country and Western singer “Rory Ruff”, he thought some of my poems could be turned to songs. So over the last year he has worked with my words and with his talent for composing music - we are now in the process of recording our 1st CD of our songs called.” From The Outback And Beyond “

Thus far, I have had 2 books published and a CD on the way, but there is still more to come, my third book is ready to be published now. I am also working on a small book of 50 Christmas Poems with photos and stories hopefully that will be ready for Christmas next year. As well as a 4th book of 200 pieces of poetry and photos in the making as well.
When you have dreams, wishes and hopes, nothing is a chore - my books are a labour of love and by knowing that others share and enjoy my works, that is what keep me striving for more and trying to get better as I go.
