Now is the Time
| Gail Pallotta's affection for others inspired her to write Now Is The Time. In it, the main character, Sarah Calotti, learns she must have an operation. "Until this moment I believed nothing ever could be as difficult to cope with as my childhood. For the first time since I'd grown up and left home, I was dumbstruck, powerless. I needed a strength I didn't have, a toughness my pseudo shell couldn't provide," Sarah says. However, before she leaves the doctor's office, Sarah meets a new friend, Meza. From that day on their paths cross. Meza sticks by Sarah, encouraging her to re-establish a close relationship with God to find the courage she needs for major surgery. She also helps Sarah deal with reoccuring frustrations concerning her father, Harry McAllister. With Meza's guidance Sarah learns that faith and forgiveness can overcome life's imperfections. |
