Local Author's Second Book Due Out in Fall of 2005
Eleanor Burks's second book Assaulted By a memory is due out in fall of 2005.
It is a southern mystery about a middle aged woman named
Vera Jefferson who is traumatized by the return of a suppressed
memory from her childhood. she was sexually abused as a child, and the
memory is changing her life. As she struggles to regain control, she quits
her job in real estate and begins a new career while contending with her
hate filled mother.
A sexy magnetic man enters her life at this untimely moment and
creates an unwelcome jealously.
Someone is seen living in the woods in front of Vera's house and
Vera is terrified.
Will Vera adjust to her returned memory and welcome her
potential suitor and will the stranger in the woods prove to be friend or
foe?
Eleanor's current book Mystery Time Stories continues it's success. She has
