Hi,

First and foremost, thank you, for checking out the website and the book.

I was told that this was the place to put down some info about me. "Get personal," I was advised. Yea sure..., I'll do my best.

I've always written, but never had a book published. That said, most of my talk is about music. I'm learning the journalistic world, but dare to say I'm an expert or accomplished. It's a great journey I'm on right now and after one reading, I'm really enjoying it.

About my past:

My number one passion has always been music. I'm happy to say that I've done just about every job at one time or another, that has to do with music. Most times, I've stumbled into each department by accident, however, every time, I had an interest and passion. Honestly, some of my favorite times were running shows for really great people in New York, and across the country. Booking bands was a hoot. Playing in bands and traveling was educational, to say the least. Recording people's projects is dam intense, and fun!

Then I started writing.

I also really love getting my hands dirty and repairing gear that should be dead.  I have so much crap  in  my house that I'm  "gonna fix"..., that  I'll never run out of toys to play with. (It's a guy thing) From "rack-jobbing" in the old days, to teaching music, to managing bands..., it's all been great because I've goten to interact with amazin', creative, inspiring, and stimulating people.

Then I wrote a little more.

Proud to be thanked on artist CD's, and prouud as well to have laid down some violin traks on a few. I know some amazing people, that I am in awe of, and I'm dam proud to have them as friends.

Then I wrote some, wrote it down, then wrote a little more.

Made an album of my own about five hundred years ago. Got it into about 6 record store chains acrss the country, and yada yada...The album was called Shoes, and it recieved two citations from Billboard Song Contest. I think a TV commercial in London used a song called "I'll Always Wish"  for somethin, cause I started getting checks from it. That's what the royalty description read anyway. Kept a great band in New York for several years and had  a dam blast playing all over the city.  When I turned 30, I decided to study again..., (to brush up on the licks) and joined the French Concervatory at Carnegie Hall. That was a really fun time cause it kicked my ass.

Ok, gotta write this down.

In the late 80's,  I spent a few years playing the subways in New York.  Now THAT.., .is a whole different world, lemme tell ya.

OK, now I'm writing and writing and writing

I couldn't even list all the different departments I've been involved in, but the bottom line is that the true love for music led me to each project. Being on both sides of the stage gives a soundman an upper hand on the show. Writing about it?? Well, that's a different puppy. Let's hope it I did ok. Been getting some great feedback on this book, and I really want to thank those who have painstakingly read different versions along the way.

So, there's alittle about me. If you know me at all, you know that the hardest thing for me to do is blow my own horn. There's a hundred stories in the previous words, with a hundred people who have taught me hundreds of things. Learning is my drug of choice. Thanks to the hundreds of people above who kept kickin my ass to make each project better.  (You made me better.)

If all the above info sounds like alot, well just take a look at the grey hair. I ain't no spring chicken anymore. ( I wonder when that happened??  lol)

If music is in the project outline, I'll most likely be interested.

I truly hope you enjoy the story....EKKO.
