"The Listening Tree – Fifty Stories of Grace-full Everyday Living" are the author’s attempt to share from her experience and imagination stories of faith, hope, and love with a broader audience. A second goal is to give an inspirational format for parents, teachers, or grandparents who may wish to share memories and values with their own children or teenagers by writing or telling family stories. Parents or grandparents who find themselves in a situation where they must provide most of the exposure to Christian values for their children or grandchildren can benefit from knowing they are not alone in their journey, but have Christ with them every step of the way. By retelling stories children can identify with enables parents or grandparents to pass on the values they believe in. At the same time it assists children to choose books with similar content when they do learn to read or write.
