I am a family practice physician outside of Detroit Michigan. I have been in practice for about 12 years using a combination of traditional medicine blended with alternative medicine. I am an osteopathic family physician meaning I have graduated from an osteopathic medical school. The school I graduated from is called Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. Before attending medical school I studied Nutrition at the State University of New York at Buffalo. There I received my Master's Degree in Nutrition.
My internship and residency training following medical school was done at Mt. Clemens General Hospital in Mount Clemens Michigan. I completed my residency training in family practice in 1995. I immediately started work at The Farmington Medical Center in Farmington, Michigan following my residency training. At Farmington Medical Center is where I learned to practice more of a holistic style of medicine under the teachings of the 2 experienced and holistuically minded physicians in that clinic. During my 3 years working with them I attended many alternative medicine lectures and became well versed in the practice of holistic medicine. In 1998, I decided to open my own family practice in Ann Arbor. I ran that practice until 2004, when I decided to return to the Farmington Medical Center and just concentrate on medicine rather than the business aspect of medicne. While running my own practice I realized how difficult it was to run the business of your practice and also be a doctor at the same time.
In September of 2006, I discovered that the building that our practice was housed in was contaminated with high levels of 2 toxic black molds, stachybotrys and chaetoimium and was forced to leave to recover my previously good health.
I am currently working in Royal Oak Michigan at a clinic where I practice holistic mediciine and traditional medicine. I also now specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of toxic black mold syndrome. |
