Donna was born in San Diego, California in 1960. For three years she owned and operated a gift and floral boutique. With a genuine love of the arts, she decided to attend San Juan College to further her skills in Graphic Art and creative writing. She made the National Dean's list during 1993-94, and was editor of the Phi Theta Kappa Newsletter. She holds a certificate in Graphic Design. She also has three poems published in, “Immortal Verses Series.”
She has one daughter, Danielle, and three beautiful grandchildren. In 1998, Donna met her husband, Robert, who first introduced her to Atlantic Canada. Immigrating to a new country is not an easy transition; however, she is happily residing in Nova Scotia, one of the most enchanting places on earth. As an artist, she has embraced several different forms of creative expressions with graphite, pastel and ink. As a writer, she hopes to convey its absolute beauty collectively with her emotional experiences and romantic imagination while living on the Bay of Fundy.
