Romancing on the Bay of Fundy

Synopsis:

Romancing on the Bay of Fundy is a collection of artistically inspired poems reflecting a taste of the wildlife, cultures, lifestyles, and legends of the Bay of Fundy.  It was seven years ago that I immigrated to Canada from the United States of America.  For the past five years, my husband and I have lived on the Bay of Fundy in the small captivating town of Parrsboro, Nova Scotia.  It is a rare pleasure to be able to live in such an awe-inspiring place.  With our beautiful pebble beaches, high tides, rock faces, spectacular views, all surrounded with lovely evergreen trees, maples, and blueberry fields, it is indeed the most captivating area I have ever seen.  As an artist, it is my hope to give you an intimate breathtaking panoramic view with a blend of a few selections of equally inspired romantic poems.

My Writing Style:

Although I have written poetry in many styles, I prefer traditional rhyming and metered style poetry.  My poems are often quatrains or couplets, and give loads of visual and auditory imagery.  The length of my poems can vary from a few short stanzas to a short tale.  I do believe this style offers a relaxing rhythmic mood allowing your emotions and senses to invade your very being.  This collection offers an opportunity to not only experience the beautiful Bay of Fundy, but also remember lost loves, the intimacies of romance, or embrace the heartfelt moments of relationships.
