The author was born in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1946 and lived in Minneapolis until he was three years old. His family then moved to the Hastings, Minnesota area where he spent his childhood living in the country in southern Washington County at Point Douglas where the National Scenic St. Croix River meets the Mississippi River. Married with three grown children and four grandchildren he has lived in Minnesota, Wisconsin, California and now resides in northeast Arkansas.
