A poltergeist (Bell Witch) haunted the family of John & Lucy Bell from 1817-1821. Cate Batts, often spelled Kate, was wrongly given the blame. Instead, three (3) Poltergeists followed John Bell from Rocky Mount, North Carolina, to Adams, Tennessee, seeking their revenge. The Bell Witch Unveiled book and one-woman show entitled The Bell Witch Unveiled At Last! The True Story Of A Poltergeist written under my pen name of DJ Lyons unveils secrets like:
-
Who was the Tennessee Bell Witch?
-
Why did the poltergeist choose to haunt the family of John and Lucy Bell?
-
Why was the poltergeist known as the Bell Witch?
-
Is the Bell Witch Cave haunted by 'Kate' or by some other spirits?
-
Is there a connection between the Trail of Tears and the Bell Witch Cave?
-
Why did the people of Adams, TN wrongly accuse Cate Williams Batts of being Kate - the poltergeist?
-
How did the poltergeist, also called the Bell Witch, learn to talk?
-
Why did the Bell Witch rarely give the same answer twice when asked, "Who are you? Why are you here?"
-
Why did the people of Adams, Tennessee, mostly choose to call the poltergeist, the Bell Witch, by the name of Kate?
-
What connection does Kate aka the Bell Witch aka the Poltergeist have with Cate Williams Batts?
-
Why was the teenage daughter of John and Lucy Bell, Betsy Bell, tortured for dating Joshua Gardner?
-
Why was the poltergeist, also known as the Bell Witch, the scapegoat for every bad thing that happened in Adams, Tennessee?
-
Did Andrew Jackson really have a run-in with the poltergeist, also known as the Bell Witch? If so, what happened?
-
If Cate Williams Batts was really the niece of Lucy Williams Bell and John Bell (by marriage), why do most or all of the archives state that Cate Williams Batts was just a neighbor?
-
Why do the archives state that Cate had no living descendants when she actually had five daughters and one son, many of whom had children and grandchildren of their own?
-
Just why was there this elaborate cover-up perpetuated by the descendants of John and Lucy Bell and the descendants of Frederick and Cate Batts?
Many of these secrets are revealed in Debbie's One-Woman Show; plus, all of these secrets and more are revealed about the Bell Witch in the book entitled "The Bell Witch Unveiled At Last! The True Story Of A Poltergeist" written by DJ Lyons (a pen name for Professional Storyteller Debbie Dunn).
