A Matter of Time is a master blend of fiction and history. Ms. DesRochers skillfully weaves the reader into the life of an ordinary family coping with extraordinary events. Without a doubt, reading this book becomes a matter of time well spent.
-Barbara Samuels, Author
A wonderful debut novel that's equal parts drama, Canadian history and family saga, yet 100% vivid and real. Deep in the heart of A Matter of Time lies the gripping tale of a national disaster tearing apart families. Amidst the twists and turns, DesRochers artfully captures the best and the worst of the human condition, reminding us so we never forget.

Dear Diane - I could not set your book down for a minute. You did a wonderful job of putting the story together. As we both know our Dad could never talk about that horrible day. Between the tears I shed as I was reading it, I felt like our dear dad was finally telling us his story. I will always treasure this. It made it all so real as I am sure anyone who went through that time would probably say the same. Thank you and please continue writing. Love, Noel
Dear Ms. Diane O’Neill DesRochers:
I just wanted to tell you how very much I enjoyed reading your book,”A Matter of Time”. I am an avid reader and was so into the story that at times I cried, and at other times I was hopeful. The people in the story were so real to me that I felt I was part of the story. When I sat down to read it, I couldn’t stop. The story was an easy read, the chapters flowed into one another without any sharp changes. I have never felt the urge to call or write any other author to tell them how much I enjoyed reading one of their books. I hope to read your other books. Again, thank you for telling the story of a tragic event in such an interesting manner. Ken Marks
