Seriously Mesmerizing
Posted June 5, 2009, 2:12 PM EST: I was very captivated by this book. The different characters that meet with disappointing allusions, horrific trials and waste places that bring them into breath taking experiences and wonderful adventures are an inspiration and encouragement to one that seeks deeper truths. Even my children were fascinated as I read aloud the side-splitting story of the creatures in Wilder Nest and when Old Ed met with the Prophetess. I believe this book would be beneficial as well as entertaining to the whole family. It is full of wonderful tales and short stories that can be understood by all ages due to perfectly placed descriptive words that paint vivid pictures on one's mind.

Extraordinary Literature
Posted June 5, 2009, 12:57 PM EST: This is a great book to read as a family. The stories are good for a variety of ages and intellect as some may find a deeper meaning than just surface reading. I found the well written allegory to be hilarious and write on key. Good for the abstract thinker and cleverly composed. I look forward to reading more of this author's work.

An Escape
Posted June 4, 2009, 2:06 PM EST: If you are looking for something new and fresh, this might just be the book that you may want to read. It intrigues you. It will not tell you the whole story, and you have to read in between the lines, but that's what makes it even more enjoyable. It opens up your thoughts to something new and invites you to ponder things beyond your realm while at the same time entertaining the child-like side of you with its original characters and story lines. Most of the enjoyment will come to you as a surprise as you follow on these characters on their own journey.

Deep Mysterious Expression
Posted June 4, 2009, 12:28 PM EST: This is a book of deep mysterious expression. The story, "Ol' Ed Meets the Prophetess" is hilarious. The whole book kept my attention to the end. It is interesting the variety of ways that the author expresses spiritual things. The story of the sunrise is beautiful and deep. Rigdon is truly outside of the camp!

Read this book in front of the fireplace to get the total effect
Posted May 19, 2009, 1:43 PM EST: This book is a good one to get lost in as some of the stories captivate. it is a good book to read in front of the fire as it puts the reader in the proper setting--a book for a thinker, the escapist and the spiritual alike. it kept my attention twice over.
