Ballad of Desert Rose
Ballad of Desert Rose is a sampler of short stories that are like their name implies. Several of the author's other books envision a world out of touch with its roots, a chaotic ruin of religious institutions that have morphed into warehouses of political machinery that spit out a more confused mankind with each new turn of their wheels. In contrast, the Rose goes, grows and shows her quests whatever is outside of this civilization entertaining them with her wilderness. Her pages merely allude to the failure of postmodern civilization but then get themselves away quickly and contemplate the things in transition, the quiet progression of those things that are different and are evolving into another world altogether--a realm hidden away in the deserted areas—the uncultivated wilderness. The Rose invites one to contemplate the genuine and real wonders that are in a fictional world.

Lazareth: The Last Lazarus
This is the testimony of a family who became discontented with mainstream Christianity and searched for something deeper. They came under intense spiritual and mental distress as they struggled to survive in the wilderness of Colorado but were finally vindicated with a revelation of Christ. Like Moses, they went up into the mountain and came down with a word from God. Included in this testimony is the amazing prophecy that God gave them concerning the last day move of God. It is more than a revival, more than a restoration; it is a resurrection-the resurrection of a last day Lazarus people.
