Senseless Iniquity
With knavery unequaled, making her his own,
To her astonishment and dismay,
Her family and friends he would have her, for him, disown,
Only now, his true colors of senseless iniquity to display.
He should have seen her as unequaled treasure,
A delicate flower to love, care for and cherish,
Which would have given them both passion and pleasure,
For with such gentle love and honor, their love would never perish.
She needs to be tenderly held, to feel love in his caress,
Treated with dignity, be held in high esteem,
Never should he try to imprison or possess,
For hard words and hurtful acts, to redeem.
He was full of low self esteem and insecurity,
Always trying to mark his territory,
Instead of honor, only hidden depravity,
Secret faults, lies to protect masculinity.
It was an honor, a privilege to have her as a mate,
Such a woman is hard to find,
Duty, demands and harshness were now her fate,
As into his tangled web, he would now her bind.
Trapped like a wild horse in a poachers grasp,
Only to die slowly of a broken spirit,
In pain, numb to the shattered innocence, no longer to gasp,
Its mine, he says, I’ll do what I like with it.

Sapphires And Velvet
Soft skin peeking from the blue sapphire velvet dress,
Sweetly scented filling his mind with secret thoughts,
Gold chain, blue sapphires lay against her golden skin,
Catching the sparkle in her blue eyes, taking his breath away.
Heels complete the fine vision before his eyes,
Holding her close, feeling her heart beat,
Kissing the nape of her neck, her arms pull him closer,
Love and desire show as their eyes meet.
Strong arms around her small waist,
Her hands cup and caress his face,
Eager fingers run through his hair,
As he pulls the pins, letting go her long curls.
Slow dancing, lost in this rapture,
True love they have finally found,
“The one” they surely did capture,
Soft sighs are the only sound.
Back at the private hidden chalet,
Together they stand on the high deck,
Watching the sunset as the day fades away,
Gazing at stars that appear as a tiny speck.
Far from the busy world they will love,
Enjoying each others company,
Doing all they ever dreamed of,
Lost in the enchantment of love’s sweet ecstasy.

Moonlight Serenade
Mr. Bullfrog sings loud and deep,
Every night his voice rings out clearly,
Joining the chorus in the crickets creep,
I love the sweet serenades dearly.
Away from the city’s rush,
Quiet undisturbed tranquility,
Go to sleep all creation, hush,
A disappearing ecosystem of fragility.
Coyotes sing their lonesome song,
Hawks across the sky silently gliding,
Dipping for prey in their mighty throng,
Effortlessly the air currants riding.
Bunnies scurry to snuggly burrows,
Baby birds peep at mama with tiny upturned beak,
As the farmer surveys long straight furrows,
From the stable the colt takes a peek.
Ecosystem clearly interdependent,
From civilization nearing extinctions brink,
With our help can once again become resplendent,
If we can remember the majesty of creation to drink.

Candlelight
Romance is in the air tonight,
A lace covered table sits waiting,
Velvety red roses in crystal scented so sweetly,
A perfect mood is set by the glowing candlelight.
Two flutes waiting with champagne to be filled,
Fine china decorated so daintily,
Silverware shining all in neat rows,
The bucket sits ready the bottle is chilled.
Strawberries all ripe, red & sweet,
Soft music plays as we are seated,
I think you such a gentleman as you pull out my chair,
An evening of romance is a treat.
In your tuxedo you are so handsome,
I love that you hold my hand so gently,
Into your eyes I love to gaze,
My heart, like a harp you deftly strum.
To the dance floor we walk arm in arm,
In my blue silk dress I feel so elegant,
As your arms slip about my waist,
You whisper that you are captivated by my charms.
My head on your shoulder as we sway,
The sweet scent of perfume fills your senses,
To me you are a chivalrous knight,
We move together as if in a ballet.
Our lips meet in soft caress,
To our room you lead as in your arms I stay,
It is as perfectly adorned as was our candlelight dinner,
You pull pins and let down my tresses.
We fit perfect like a hand in a glove,
Tears come as my very being you serenade,
In your embrace I melt as chocolate fondue,
Like this we will forever make love.
We dream that this night goes on forever,
For a love like ours is as a timeless legend,
Next to your heart is where I belong,
You are my best friend and my lover.

Earth Angel
Earth Angel, you hold captive my heart,
I see you in my dreams every night,
An Earth Angel brought to life a long dead heart,
Tethering me to reality when I feel a fright.
When I had given up on love, on life,
Into my life you alighted softly as a delicate white dove,
An Earth Angel, daily rescuing me from my strife,
Never for another have I felt such love.
Earth Angel, what have you done to me?
For without you my l find my days turn feral,
Thinking of you allows my heart and mind to run free,
Time not in your presence is sterile.
You must be an angel sent from above,
For you appeared just when I needed it most,
Enchanting my existence with tenderness and love,
I well remember, before you I was so lost.
My Earth Angel, my thoughts you constantly invade,
Since we met everyday is now brighter,
All that you are, into my very being will pervade,
Two souls delicately entwined ever tighter.
I feel your very essence in my daily life,
A cruel world crashing all around,
Earth Angel, if only I could make you my wife,
My happiness would know no bounds.
Earth Angel, forever in my heart I hold you dear,
In my dreams you sleep next to my heart,
Whether you may be far or near,
For you are forever my Earth Angel, Sweetheart.

Secret Admirer
Lovely lavender roses & babies breath arrive with a card,
“With love from your secret admirer” is the message,
Fantasies in my mind run wild,
Who would be so avant-garde?
Breathtaking pink peonies in days soon follow,
“To an earth angel” is the greeting,
Who could this be, do I know him?
Is this one as handsome and smart as the myth of Apollo?
Beautiful stargazer lilies in a pretty vase,
So early in the morning I’m barely awake,
“Good morning beautiful” is what the card says,
Coaxing a sleepy smile to my face.
Bright yellow daisies arrive to make my day,
Tiny sprigs of dainty pink flowers are secretly tucked in,
Such a sweet arrangement it truly is,
“You are my sunshine” is all the card will betray.
What will next announce his affection?
Love letters on pretty paper?
Sapphires, diamonds or lacey lingerie?
Will it be a Godiva chocolates confection?
My sweet Adonis please show your handsome face,
In my fantasy I already know you,
Our lips have many times met,
I long to feel your tender embrace.
