             When Susan Reed, the third wife of Dylan Reed the popular star of the cult science fiction series SPACE AVENGERS, is found dead in her Spring Lake, New Jersey swimming pool, elementary school teacher/amateur sleuth Jamie Hamilton is the only one who suspects foul play.  However, the tide soon turns against the aging actor who portrayed the infamous Captain Travis Keating when one of his bitter co-stars, David Montgomery, appears in an interview accusing Dylan Reed of murdering his wife as well as the up and coming actor who was to take over the helm in the new fall NBC Avenger series.

            At first convinced of Reed’s guilt, Jamie’s tune changes slightly when her husband Michael is retained to defend his adolescent hero.  She puts aside her doubts of innocence to embark on a quest to help Michael clear his high profile client. 

            As she delves deeper into the lives of the aging Avenger stars, Jamie discovers more than one skeleton along the way.  Will she uncover the truth in time or become another victim?

            Elementary school teacher/amateur sleuth Jamie Hamilton immediately suspects foul play when friend and colleague Rebecca Rollman dies in front of her second grade class.  While nosing around, Jamie finds a trail of lies and bodies which lead right back to the grieving husband, Thomas Rollman.

            Thomas Rollman has loved four women in his life.  Three of them are dead.  Is Thomas a serial killer as the police in three cities believe or is he the victim on a twisted plot of revenge?

            Jamie’s investigation into his past eventually makes her believe the latter.  Will she bring Rebecca’s murderer to justice or become another unsolved homicide?
